On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. With a week, businesses, restaurants, schools and parks were closed and social distancing became a way of life. Included below are four articles I wrote for Focus on Victoria between March and July, 2020. Xchanges re-opened with Phototextrinum in September and Gage Gallery showed Joanna Pettit in October and Martina Edmondson in November. A group show with seven Gage artists continued until December 31. Creativity continued and nourished us all.
